Meet Fritz and Mitts, an adorable 8-week-old, black-and-white bonded brother and sister pair currently looking for their forever home!Fritz: The Ultimate Purr MachineFritz is an absolute sweetie pie and a total snuggle bug. If you are sitting down, expect him to climb right into your lap and turn on his loud, rhythmic purr motor. He’s an easygoing guy who loves affection just as much as he loves playtime.Mitts: The Loyal ProtectorMitts is a little reserved when she first meets new people, but don't let that fool you—she is incredibly courageous and fiercely loyal! She takes her role as big sister seriously and is always ready to look out for her brother, Fritz. Once she knows she can trust you, her loyalty is unmatched. She is incredibly playful and always ready for fun!These two are a package deal. They rely on each other, play together, and will bring an absolute abundance of happiness to a loving home. High energy but remarkably easygoing! They love a good zoomie session but are just as happy to wind down and relax with you. They were a little wary of dogs initially, but because they are still so young, they have plenty of potential to adjust to a cat-friendly pup with slow, proper introductions.Fritz & Mitts are available for pre-adoption. Come meet them, fall in love and take them home after their spay and neuter surgeries. Their adoption fee is 2 for 1.Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
