This reserved 29-lb lab mix is a gentle soul who dreams of the simple things… like enjoying her dinner without having to race to the bowl with others. She recently met another similar-sized spayed female here at the shelter — she tolerated the enthusiastic sniffing but stayed a bit reserved. Midnight is great at setting healthy boundaries and communicating them to her canine friends. Her perfect family will be patient, consistent, and understanding as she learns what it means to live indoors and to trust the world at her own pace. Slow introductions and meet-and-greets with other dogs are recommended, especially since she spent her past life sharing resources with many others.Midnight is ready to thrive — not just survive.
