Jules is a 2-year-old Poodle whose story didn't begin the way he deserved. He was found wandering the streets of Detroit, alone and searching for someone who never came back for him. Despite every opportunity, no one came to reclaim him, leaving this sweet little guy to wonder what happened to the family he once knew.Thankfully, those sad days are behind him. Jules has gotten a fresh haircut, is looking extra handsome, and is ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family who will love him forever.This active, friendly, and playful boy has so much love to give. He enjoys playing, exploring, and spending time with his people. Jules has met other small dogs while in our care and has done well with them. We aren't sure how he feels about cats, so any introductions should be slow and properly supervised.Because of his small size, we recommend a home with children 12 years and older, though he may do well with younger children who understand how to be gentle and respectful with small dogs.Jules would also benefit from crate training when left home alone, helping him feel safe and establish a routine. Be sure to keep plenty of toys on hand to satisfy his playful spirit and give him appropriate things to chew.Jules has already experienced being forgotten once. Now he's searching for the one thing every dog deserves—a forever family that will never let him wonder where he belongs again.
