Rennie is a 4-year-old little sweetheart who was found wandering the streets all alone. Day after day, she waited, hoping someone would come looking for her—but no one ever did. Whatever her past may have been, she deserved so much better than being forgotten.Now, with a fresh haircut and an adorable new look, Rennie is ready to leave those lonely days behind and begin the happy chapter she's been waiting for: finding a family who will love her for the rest of her life.Rennie is friendly, playful, and full of curiosity. She enjoys exploring the world around her and being close to the people she trusts. One of the sweetest things we've learned about her is that she doesn't like to eat alone or in her crate. She'd much rather enjoy her meals with you nearby, reminding us just how much she craves companionship after everything she's been through.She has done well meeting other small dogs while in our care. We aren't sure how she'll do with cats, so any introductions should be slow, patient, and properly supervised.Because of her petite size, we recommend a home with children 12 years and older. However, she would likely do well with younger children who understand how to be gentle and respectful with a small dog.Rennie would benefit from crate training when you're away from home, helping her build confidence and settle into a routine. With patience, love, and reassurance, she'll continue to blossom into the wonderful companion she's meant to be.Rennie has already known what it feels like to be left behind. Now she's hoping someone will choose her—not just for today, but for every tomorrow.
