Description

Introducing the adorably sweet Fancy!  Fancy began her life as an outdoor farm dog, but like her name suggests, she always knew she wanted  a peaceful, comfortable indoor home of her own.   Fancy is a 3 year old, 35 pound lab mix, making her the perfect size furry companion for most households.  She is doing amazing with her housetraining and has not had a single accident while she has been in her foster home and is an absolute DREAM to walk on a leash.  Fancy has done very well in her crate, especially if you toss in a few treats.  She will quietly take a nap in there while you are away, but can’t help herself from trying to open the door when she first gets in.  Fancy is currently living with two other dogs in her foster home and does quite well with them.   She is still figuring out how playing exactly works, and prefers to mostly coexist with her canine companions.  She is also currently fostered with a cat, and does very well, choosing to ignore the cat altogether.  Fancy’s ideal day would be a leisurely walk around the neighborhood, followed by a snooze in  the yard in the sun, followed by some pets inside please and thank you.   Sweet and gentle Fancy is always very respectful of your space, and asks that in return, you appreciate the tumbleweeds she creates with her lovely cream colored fur.  She would likely do well with school aged children and above, as little ones may interrupt her beauty sleep. Fancy is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated.  She is available for adoption beginning on July 5, 2026 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, Pa 15144 KL#16182.
