Meet Roxy Roxy’s journey hasn’t been an easy one, but she’s never let it dim her sweet spirit.She was rescued from a hoarding situation and brought to the East LA shelter while pregnant. Sadly, her litter could not be saved, but she received the medical care she needed, including being spayed, fully vaccinated, and even getting her teeth cleaned.Roxy was then adopted by a loving woman who adored her. Unfortunately, not long afterward, her adopter received a devastating health diagnosis and was no longer able to care for her. Through no fault of her own, Roxy is once again searching for a forever family.Despite everything she’s been through, Roxy is one of the most good-natured dogs you’ll ever meet. She has done wonderfully living with other dogs and is a joy to have around. While she hasn’t lived with children or cats, she’s always been gentle when meeting kids and happily accepts their pets. On walks, she’s calmly curious around cats, showing a relaxed and respectful demeanor.If there’s one thing Roxy loves most, it’s being with her people. She’s incredibly affectionate, happiest when she’s curled up next to you, and firmly believes there’s no such thing as too much love or attention. In fact, she has a strict “everyone is welcome to pet me” policy! The only thing that comes close to competing for her heart? Treats. She absolutely adores them.Roxy has so much love to give and is ready to spend the rest of her life with a family who will cherish her as much as she’ll cherish them.
