She was used for breeding and then discarded once she was no longer needed. Despite being failed by people early on, she has remained incredibly gentle and forgiving.Dorothea is sweet, kind, and soft-natured. She takes comfort in human connection and truly craves affection from her people. A calm presence and gentle attention go a long way with her—she responds with quiet trust and a hopeful spirit that is only beginning to blossom in her new environment.Now safe, Dorothea is learning what it means to simply be a companion dog: to relax, to be cared for, and to be valued for who she is, not what she was used for.She is ready for a home that will give her patience, love, and the stability she has always deserved.
