ADOPTION APPLICATION:  https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html .    We respond via email to your apps so please add hselco@bellsouth.net to your contact list or check your SPAM folder for our response. If we do not receive a timely response we simply move on to another applicant. And please wait for our response as we schedule appointments to meet our pets. Pet info, adoption cost/detail information below: PET DESCRIPTION:  Faith is a six-year-old female Lab/Yorkie mix, 37 lbs.  She came to us after the death of her owner.  Poor Faith was petrified but came straight into our office and then hid under our desks for a few days.  Can you blame her - everything she ever knew was gone.  Once she learned we were wanting to help her she slowly came out of her shell.  Now, for some reason, in these pics she decided to be shy again.  Once she is comfortable with you she will lick all the makeup off your face and is a very happy girl!  She loves attention, loves going for walks, is house and crate trained (no need honestly), is great with other dogs and cats and children.  She does NOT want to be outside any more than just for a walk - she is a housedog who wants to be with her people - no staying in the yard while her people go to work for her - nope, nope, nope.  Yes, she really should lose an easy 10 lbs and more walks would help that immensely.  She is a special lady to us and deserves her next home to be one full of love for the rest of her life so she doesn't have to go through this again.   DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch (and we register the chip at time of the adoption); certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).
