Penelope

Penelope is 2 years old and is a ShihTzu. She was surrendered to our shelter, as her owners were moving and couldn't take her. Her coat coloring is sort of caramel cream. Buggy Pop Groom Shop just groomed her for us. The ShihTzu breed will need grooming every 4-6 weeks. So if interested in her, be prepared for her groomer visits. Penelope weighs about 11 pounds and is not housebroken. Perhaps was trained somewhat on potty pads, so will need instruction, time and patience. This is a calm little girl who loves toys, and playing with them along with you. She loves attention from both men and women; including petting, belly rubs and being in laps. Penelope is very curious to things around her, and can jump high and be on furniture within minutes of when you noticed her last. Penelope is good on a lease and likes walks. She has her own pink crate, which came with her. She likes sleeping in her crate. We know she likes wet food or very tiny dry food pellets.
