Description

Bruno is a male dog who presented bright, alert, and responsive (BAR) with bilateral entropion, a painful condition in which both eyelids roll inward, causing the eyelashes to continuously rub against the surface of the eyes. This condition can result in chronic pain, corneal ulceration, scarring, and vision impairment if left untreated. Corrective eyelid surgery is recommended to relieve his discomfort and protect his long-term vision. This level of specialized surgical care and postoperative recovery support exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment.Despite his condition, Bruno remains gentle and is doing his best while receiving supportive care. Bruno needs a safe, compassionate placement where he can receive surgical evaluation, corrective treatment, and appropriate recovery care to restore his comfort and preserve his vision.This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to the level of medical care required, which exceeds what we can provide in the shelter.
