Description

Meet Whiskey! This big-hearted boy is ready to find his forever family. He was adopted as a little puppy and now he is being returned at no fault of his own.  Here is everything you need to know about this wonderful guy: The Ultimate Playmate If you love being active, Whiskey is your man. He has energy for days and a true passion for life.     •    Fetch Fanatic: His absolute favorite pastime is chasing tennis balls. He will happily play with you or romp around with other dogs for hours on end.     •    Walking Companion: Whiskey loves long walks on his harness. He’s great on the move, though he does get highly excited at times and will try to pull when he sees something interesting!     •    Natural Athlete: Whiskey has a naturally high prey drive. While he isn’t aggressive, he loves to chase anything fast-moving. Because of this, he would thrive best in a home without cats or small animals. Quirks & Favorite Things     •    Ice Cube Hunter: One of Whiskey’s most endearing quirks is his love for ice cubes. He loves chasing them across the floor before crunching down on his favorite chilly snack.     •    A True Couch Potato: Once playtime is over, Whiskey flips a switch. He adores bundling up right beside his people on the couch, completely tucked under the blankets. Training & House Manners Whiskey is a smart boy who loves to learn and please his people.     •    House & Crate Trained: Whiskey is fully crate trained. If he ever can't get outside in time, he is wonderfully trained to use a pee pad.     •    Resource Guarding: Whiskey tends to guard his food and toys. He just needs a patient family who understands his history and will give him a safe, separate space to enjoy his meals without worry.     •    Sensitive Soul: Despite his big personality, Whiskey does get scared by large thunderstorms and loud vehicles. He’ll look to you for comfort and a safe spot to hide until the noise passes.
