King Jacob is a stunning AKC-registered yellow Labrador Retriever with a heart full of love and a lifetime of loyalty to give. For the first 10 years of his life, Jacob was cherished by his elderly owner. They were best friends, and Jacob was by his side every day.   Sadly, Jacob’s owner fell and passed away, leaving Jacob without the person he loved most. He was surrendered to Allie’s Haven in hopes that we could find him another wonderful family who will love him just as deeply. Jacob is a true gentleman. He knows his basic commands, loves to play fetch (although he’s a little slower these days), and enjoys spending time with his people. He may not be the typical “water-loving Lab” who jumps right into the pool, but he is happy to hang out with you all day while you swim — he just wants to be part of the family. ❤️ This sweet boy is friendly with dogs, cats, and people. In fact, he hasn’t met a stranger yet! Jacob is potty trained and has excellent manners. He isn’t a fan of being crated, but he would do wonderfully with free roam in a safe home. Because Jacob’s owner was elderly and home with him most of the time, Jacob is looking for a family who understands that he doesn’t love being alone for long periods. He is a companion dog who wants to be near his people. Jacob has spent 10 beautiful years giving unconditional love. Now he deserves the chance to spend his golden years surrounded by kindness, comfort, and a family who will never let him feel forgotten.
