Description

India is a 9 month old female Shepherd mix with a stunning blue-gray coat that practically glows in the sunshine. But as beautiful as she is on the outside, it's her gentle heart that truly makes her unforgettable. This sweet pup has enjoyed a few Dog Day Out adventures with our volunteers, and each outing has helped her grow in confidence as she discovers the world beyond the shelter. While watching India blossom, it's easy to see that she is ready for a forever family to help her continue that journey. India is a little more laid back than many puppies, with a calm, well-mannered nature that makes her a wonderful companion. She loves spending time with her people and has a quiet, affectionate way of making every moment together feel special. Plus, she also has a fun playful side, where India enjoys romping around and especially loves playing with rope toys. But she is just as happy relaxing beside you, soaking up the simple joy of being with her people. Those peaceful moments are when her loving and gentle personality truly shines. She's the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and will be a loyal, devoted companion to the lucky family who adopts her. Now India is hoping her next adventure will be the one she's been waiting for all along - a ride home with her forever family. Come meet this beautiful girl soon! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA.
