 Murray is an 8 month old male Shepherd mix with a handsome wavy black coat, bright white highlights, and the kind of soulful eyes that will melt your heart. This lovable pup has enjoyed several outings with volunteers, including a stroll along the Greenbelt plus an Adoption Event, where he impressed everyone he met. He has become a volunteer favorite, truly blossoming as he gains confidence … and now he's more than ready to find a family to call his own. Murray walks beautifully on a leash, making him a wonderful partner for neighborhood strolls or nature walks. He also proudly shows off his perfect “Sit”, proving just how smart he is. A fast learner with an eager-to-please attitude, Murray loves learning new things and clearly enjoys making his people proud. As much as he enjoys getting out and exploring, Murray's favorite part of every outing is simply spending one-on-one time with his person. His gentle, affectionate nature shines brightest when he's by your side, soaking up attention and enjoying life's simple moments together. Murray has all the qualities of an incredible lifelong companion - smart, sweet, loyal, and full of love. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
