Foster or forever home wanted, meet Eddie! This sweet, handsome young fella landed at the Hesperia Shelter as a stray back on June 19th. Eddie was microchipped so the shelter called the contact number on the chip. The answering party said the dog belonged to his father who passed away in April. That is when Eddie went missing as the family said they had been looking for him with no luck. They advised the shelter they could not take the dog and would not be coming for him. Even more sad, they didn't even pass on his name. Eddie seems to fit and he's responding well to it! Even GREAT dogs like Eddie do not have much time to get adopted because there simply isn't enough room to keep them. When the shelter alerted us about him, they said he was a very sweet dog that seemed to be well trained. They went on to say he is playful and has a bubbly personality.
