Madeline is an adorable little Chihuahua puppy who weighs just under 3 pounds at 12 weeks old. She is expected to remain very small as an adult. Despite her tiny size, she has a big personality and is a happy, playful little girl.Madeline already knows her name and comes when called. She loves following her people around the yard, being carried, and curling up beside you on the couch. She forms a strong bond with her person and would happily spend all day by your side. Because of this, she doesn't enjoy being left alone and may cry when she can't see you.She isn't a picky eater and especially enjoys homemade treats like scrambled eggs. At bedtime, her favorite place to sleep is snuggled up in bed with her human.Like any puppy, Madeline is full of energy and loves games of tug-of-war, chasing her people, and exploring the world around her. She is puppy pad trained, but because she is still a baby, her new family should expect occasional accidents as she continues to learn and adjust to her new home. PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: ***ALL ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY IN LONG BEACH, MISSISSIPPI.*** We transport adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to Northeast states. Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application.  We will discuss additional details with potential adopters once we have an application on file. For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. We are located in an overpopulated area surrounded by high-kill shelters.Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel. Each pet is spayed/neutered, receives age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, heartworm test (6 months and older) microchipped and  flea/tick/heartworm prevention. ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate.
