Description

Elsa — A Second Chance Never Looked So Beautiful Elsa's story is one of healing, resilience, and discovering just how good life can be She came to Heartland because her owner knew something was wrong with her mouth but simply couldn't afford the veterinary care Elsa desperately needed.Once she arrived, we discovered she was suffering from severe dental disease and stomatitis, a painful inflammatory condition that made eating and living comfortably difficult A Fresh StartElsa underwent an extensive dental procedure where all of her teeth from the canines back—both top and bottom—were removed. The result? Her stomatitis resolved. She felt so much better. She got her life back. And before you ask...Yes!She still happily eats dry food! Cats are amazingly adaptable, and Elsa is proof of that. About ElsaNow that she's feeling so much better, Elsa's sweet personality shines brighter than ever. Loves pets and affection Enjoys playing with toys Sweet, gentle personality Happy spending time with her peopleShe's the kind of cat who is simply grateful to feel good again. A Small Reminder of Her JourneyElsa does have two small scars—one on her belly and one on her left side. These were the result of burns she sustained from warming rice socks while recovering from her dental procedure at the veterinary hospital. Thankfully, they healed beautifully and don't bother her at all.Her fur may or may not grow back over those areas, but we think they're simply little reminders of everything she's overcome on her journey to feeling better. Elsa's Ideal Home Would do well with another cat after proper introductions May also do well with a cat-friendly dog A family ready to shower her with love and affectionMost of all, Elsa is looking for a home where she'll never have to live with pain again. What Elsa DeservesFor too long, Elsa lived with a painful mouth that no one could fix.Today, she's healthy, comfortable, playful, and ready to enjoy everything life has to offer. Now all she needs is someone to love her forever
