Meet Remy — Our Little Miracle Girl  Remy is as sweet as they come — a gentle, loving soul who truly just wants to be close to her people. She has been through more than most kittens ever should, but you’d never know it by the way she loves. Remy was born with a congenital condition called anal atresia, meaning she was born without a properly formed anus. Because of this, she requires ongoing special care and will likely always be incontinent. She has been evaluated by two vets that have confirmed this to be true.She is also a Manx. Her daily care includes: Frequent baths to keep her clean and comfortable Diaper changes and protective ointments.  She doesn't care for this process so you need to be okay with that.   A dedicated caregiver who understands her unique needsShe will have many UTIs.  She will need to be treated for them.  So frequent vet visits are a must.  This is not a low-maintenance kitty — but for the right person, she is incredibly rewarding. Despite everything, Remy is pure love. She will happily curl up in your arms, cuddle for hours, and soak in every bit of affection you give her. She forms deep bonds and truly thrives on companionship. Remy will need a special needs–experienced adopter who is patient, committed, and ready to give her the extra care she deserves for the rest of her life.  She may require more work… but she will give you so much more love in return.
