Meet Akoya! This beautiful 4-year-old Husky/Border Collie mix is ready to find her forever family. Akoya is the perfect adventure buddy and loyal companion, always eager to be by your side no matter what the day brings. We're told that Akoya does well with dogs and cats and absolutely LOVES children, making her a wonderful addition to many different types of homes. She is very treat motivated, loves to learn, and is eager to please, which makes training both fun and rewarding. Whether you're looking for a hiking partner, a family companion, or a best friend for life's adventures, Akoya is ready to have your back every step of the way! All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter.
