***Tessa will be available for adoption at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes, NJ over the July 11-12 weekend. Questions about Tessa and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the Rescue's number.*** Tessa and her three littermates were found as strays and brought to our rescue. The pups couldn't have been more than 5-6 weeks old at the time, suffered from flea infestation/hair loss and looked to be very undernourished. While we weren't able to get them in immediately, we did begin administering their de-wormers and other such needed care. The litter appears to some type of Hound mix be are also much smaller than your typical Hound breeds.  Tessa quickly gained the reputation as being the feisty pup of this litter as she was always starting the fun and games that she and her siblings would engage in. She's a very friendly pup who loves to play and is very well socialized towards people. She also loves playing in her puppy pool. She'll make a great addition into just about any home situation. Tessa has currently received 2/3 of her first year puppy vaccines, been de-wormed and treated against parasites at proper intervals. Her adopter much agree to having Tessa spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide our rescue with verification of such. Tessa will require all of her basic training.
