Meet Star!When Star first arrived at the shelter, her life was turned upside-downâit was terrifying for her, and she used her hisses purely as a defense mechanism because she was so afraid. But the moment she landed in a quiet foster home, her fearful wall crumbled. She came right out of her shell and revealed herself to be a sweet, good girl who just needed to feel safe.Now that she's comfortable, Star is a wonderfully interactive companion. She loves to follow her people around like a little shadow, watch the world from the window, play with her toys, and get pampered with a good brushing session. If you want to win her heart instantly, just bring out the creamy treatsâshe absolutely adores them and will be your best friend for life in exchange for a snack!This active girl has a fun, quirky side and loves a good chasing game! You can expect lots of entertaining night zoomies as she tears through the living room after dark. Because Star has a big personality and some specific boundaries, she requires an experienced, adult-only home and will do best as your only cat. She encountered children in her previous home and made it very clear she prefers an environment without them, so we are looking for an adult-only home for Star. She also strictly hates having her paws touched, and will sometimes nip when she gets overstimulated.Star is still in her foster home and not at the shelter.
