Description
Atlas is a friendly pup who is currently with our partner rescue in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ soon. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial to approved adopters. Meet Atlas — your future adventure buddy with a heart as big as his zoomies. Atlas is a stunning pit mix who has spent most of his young life in a shelter, including the last four months in a kennel. Because of that, when he gets his chance to stretch his legs… he makes the most of it. This boy is pure energy, enthusiasm, and joy just waiting for the right outlet. Atlas would thrive with an active family and a yard where he can run, play, and burn off that puppy energy. He’d make an incredible hiking partner, jogging buddy, or sidekick for anyone who loves the outdoors. If your idea of a good day involves movement, Atlas is already packing his bags. He’s not house-trained yet and will need structure, consistency, and some basic training—but he is a sweet, eager boy who truly wants to connect. With a little guidance and patience, Atlas has all the makings of an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving dog who will keep life interesting (and active), Atlas just might be your guy. Atlas tested negative for heartworm and up to date on vaccines. He will need to be spayed and microchipped when he arrives to NJ, this will require a trip to our spay/neuter clinic in Holmdel, which we cover. His adoption donation is $500. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
