Shes looking for a patient, compassionate person who will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe again. While Abby may be timid when meeting new people and in unfamiliar situations, she forms deep bonds once she learns she can trust you. It doesnt take long for her to choose her person, and shell happily become your little shadow, staying close to the one who makes her feel secure. She would thrive in a quiet home with few visitors and would make an excellent companion for a single person looking for a loyal, loving sidekick. We've been told that Abby is accustomed to using pee pads and does not like going potty on grass, so her future family should be prepared to continue a routine that works best for her. Because loud activity and the unpredictability of children can be overwhelming, Abby is looking for a calm, adult-only home. With patience, understanding, and a gentle touch, this sweet little girl has so much love left to give. Shes not looking for a busy household or a life full of excitement. Shes looking for her person, a safe place, and a chance to feel at home again. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
