Meet Lizzie! All Lizzie wants is a place to call home and someone to love her forever. This sweet, intelligent girl is looking for the stability she's been waiting for. While she may be a little shy when meeting new people, give her a little time and you'll discover a playful, affectionate companion with a heart full of love. Lizzie is a graduate of our PAWs to Prison training program, where she learned an impressive set of commands including sit, stay, down, paw, up, up-up, and place. She also has a great recall, just whistle or call her name, and she'll come running. Her eagerness to learn and please makes her a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys working with their dog. When she's feeling playful, Lizzie loves to run, jump, and explore. One of her favorite pastimes? Chasing and playing in the water from the garden hose! She gets along well with cats, though she's mostly just curious about them, and she's happiest when she can spend time relaxing with her favorite people. Lizzie has so much love to give. She just needs someone willing to look past her initial shyness and see the incredible dog waiting to shine. Her forever family is out there. Maybe she's been waiting for you all along.
