Description

Ahoy, matey!! My name is Captain Jack Sparrow, but you can call me Cappy! Oh, you noticed I look a little funny when I walk, my foster mom says it gives me character. I have cerebellar hypoplasia. My foster mom isn't sure what happened, but she thinks that I likely suffered a lack of oxygen from a tough birth. But I think my little wobble makes me so much cooler. I'm doing physical therapy with my foster mom all the time and getting stronger and stronger, I can even walk a couple steps when I'm really focused. I'm looking for a forever home that understands I need a little extra TLC. I promise I'm not high maintenance, I just know what I like: carpeted floors, lots of rugs, lots of things to lean on, rubber bowls and lots and lots and lots of toys! I think I'd do best in a home with no kiddos or kiddos old enough to understand that I need a little extra help when I move around. I've learned how to navigate a litter box like a champ and foster mom got me some great new bowls so I don't hurt my face when I try to eat. I LOVE wrestling my brothers and sisters, I'm super good at it. I also love toys of all kinds, especially strings and springs. My favorite thing in the whole wide world is snuggling though. I LOVE belly scritches. I meet foster mom with my belly first thing every morning. My foster mom always tells me that I don't have limitations, I just have different parameters than most kitties.. That's why I'm looking for a very special home to call my forever. My foster mom is willing to consider a home without another kitty, though she still thinks it would be best for me to have a feline best friend. Are you my forever? DOB April 2026. Children 12 and over. foster: apba Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $350 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes.  These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.  These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for kittens (6 months & under)    $150 for cats (older than 6 months)    $100 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application  here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
