(Central Texas Adootion only & home delivery) Meet Mr. Grimley – The Distinguished Gentleman with a Heart Full of LoveMr. Grimley may wear a serious expression, but don’t let his distinguished face fool you—behind those soulful eyes is one of the sweetest, most affectionate cats you’ll ever meet.Mr. Grimley came to SOS Cat Rescue from a shelter in very rough condition. He was extremely thin and suffering from a skin condition, but with good nutrition, medical care, and lots of love, he’s already gained weight and continues to blossom every day. This week he’ll be seeing one of our veterinarians to evaluate his adorable underbite and make sure it’s not affecting his ability to eat. So far, he’s doing wonderfully and enjoys every meal!If you’re looking for a true companion, Mr. Grimley is your guy. He absolutely adores people and believes laps were invented just for him. The moment you walk through the door, he’ll rush over to greet you, carrying on the happiest conversation as if he’s telling you every exciting thing that happened while you were away. His cheerful chatter and enthusiastic welcomes are guaranteed to make every day brighter.When playtime begins, watch out for his favorite banana toy! Mr. Grimley can happily entertain himself batting it around for hours—day or night. And when he’s finished playing, you’ll almost certainly find him curled up beside you, hoping for pets, cuddles, and another Churu treat (his absolute favorite!).Because of his unique facial structure, Mr. Grimley has a few simple care routines that help him stay comfortable:* He does best eating from a flat plate rather than a deep bowl.* His beautiful coat benefits from daily brushing.* His eyes should be gently wiped each day.* He’ll need occasional sanitary trims to keep him clean and comfortable.* He currently receives one packet of Purina FortiFlora daily, which has become part of his routine.To help him settle into a new home, we recommend starting him in a smaller room—such as a bedroom—and gradually expanding his space as he gains confidence. He also enjoys sleeping in the same room as his people, where he feels safe and close to the family he loves so much.Mr. Grimley has already overcome so much in his life, and now he’s simply looking for what every cat deserves—a family to adore him.
