Description
Apollo revels in the joyful squeaks and crinkles of his favorite toys, turning every moment into an adventure as he digs through his basket of treasures. His happiest place is always by his people’s side, easing his teething gums with a beloved toy. At just 12 weeks old, he’s already mastered the art of letting you know when it’s time for a potty break. With his gentle spirit and undeniable charm, this sweet boy is still growing into those adorably oversized puppy paws.Crinkly toys and perfect chewables are his favorites as his adult teeth begin to emerge. He accepts treats with a soft, careful mouth, always polite. During his first bath to wash away the street dust, he was the picture of patience in the laundry room sink. After an overnight stay in his first foster home between leaving the shelter and a Pilots and Paws flight, Apollo is living with two resident dogs and a one-year-old baby in his current foster home. His foster family says that he’s a confident, happy boy who plays well with their dogs and has excellent household manners for his age. He’s started on antibiotics this week for 7 days as his symptoms of an upper respiratory infection, primarily his nasal discharge, have turned green, and he's feeling under the weather. Although this is mainly a viral infection, it can require supportive antibiotics in certain circumstances, especially in puppies who were exposed to a higher viral load in shelter settings. Similar to a cold turning into a sinus infection. We are overjoyed to support Apollo and his littermate, Chloe, as they embark on their journey from shelter life to the loving, forever family they deserve. They were picked up by animal control from the streets and not claimed at the shelter. Help us share Apollo’s story so he can soon find a forever home that will fall in love with his floppy ears and the irresistible charm of his puppy days.Have you checked out our YouTube channel?
