Description
#A5779937 Barley is a boisterous and large teen puppy who has no idea how big he is! Eager to play and meet new people, he jumps up to say hello and needs to learn some manners but he takes correction well. We don’t recommend him for homes with seniors since he could accidentally knock someone over. Exuberant and energetic, Barley needs a physically strong handler and calm leader who can teach him to settle down appropriately and be a polite companion. He will need daily exercise and playtime to burn off that puppy energy, and once he’s tired out he’s likely to be a happy sleeper who just wants to be near you. -About 1 year and 1 month and 90 pounds (he may get even a little bigger) -Handsome tuxedo black and white markings -Big smile! -American Staffordshire mix -Selective with dogs, the shelter may require he be your one and only but he was appropriate with another dog he saw in the next yard -Needs all the basic training -Not yet neutered when we met so that will need to be done before his adoption -Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on May 30 as a stray BARLEY’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/S_ip-ZItepc For more information, contact volunteer Lor at lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org Look up this or other animals at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center https://animalcare.lacounty.gov/view-our-animals/ Use their unique ID NUMBER.
