Meet Amber! Amber is a beautiful 2-year-old torbi tabby with a soft, unique coat and an even softer personality. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, preferring to observe quietly and take in her surroundings before deciding it’s safe to come forward. Once she feels comfortable, Amber’s gentle and affectionate nature begins to shine. She enjoys quiet spaces, cozy hiding spots, and the comfort of calm companionship. With patience and kindness, she slowly builds trust and will reward her person with sweet moments of connection and quiet affection. At just two years old, Amber is ready to find a forever home where she can feel safe, secure, and loved at her own pace. She would do best with someone who understands that the best bonds are built slowly and that a little patience goes a long way.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
