Description

Looking for a tiny best friend with a big heart? Meet Tacha'i, a sweet senior Chihuahua who's ready to trade her difficult past for a cozy, loving future.Tacha'i dreams of the simple things in life: a soft bed, a sunny spot to nap, and a family who will cherish her golden years. She's an easy walker who enjoys leisurely strolls and spending quiet time with her people. While she's not training for a marathon, she could use a little help on her weight-loss journey, and she'd love a companion to cheer her on with gentle walks and healthy treats.Because she's a mature lady who appreciates peace and routine, Tacha'i would do best in a quieter home with older children or adults. She's the kind of dog who will happily curl up beside you while you read, watch TV, or simply enjoy a relaxing afternoon together.Tacha'i has been through a lot, but she hasn't lost her sweet spirit. She's hoping her next chapter is filled with comfort, kindness, and all the love she deserves.Could your home be the happy ending Tacha'i has been waiting for?If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog's better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption fee: $95.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2025 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older.
