***Derrick is currently located at our rescue in Georgia. He is scheduled to attend and be available for adoption at our upcoming adoption event at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes, N.J. over the July 11-12 weekend. Questions concerning Derrick and/or our adoption process should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the Rescue's number.*** Derrick and his four littermates were found as strays by a family in a neighboring county. They gladly held onto the pups until we had space to take them in. You can't tell by his pictures, but Derrick is actually a very adventurous and well-socialized pup (he's just a little camera shy!). He gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. His gentle personality makes him a great candidate for any family looking to add a new dog to their home.  Derrick is now up to date on his annual vaccinations, de-wormings , monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives and other vet care. He's also already been neutered. His adopter should be prepared to offer him house, leash and other basic training.
