Coco is a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who arrived at the shelter after being thrown over a fence and abandoned prior to intake. She is a sweet, sensitive girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and predictable place.At her core, Coco is gentle and affectionate. She enjoys being outside, taking in her surroundings, and spending time with people once she feels comfortable. She can be a little unsure in new situations, but with patience and consistency, her personality begins to shine through.Coco has a quirky, endearing habit of sometimes relaxing with her tongue hanging out the side of her mouth, adding to her charm and gentle nature. In dog interactions, Coco may be a bit forward at first but tends to settle with time and structured introductions. She does best with calm, respectful canine companions and clear guidance during introductions.She will thrive in a calm, patient home that can provide structure, reassurance, and time for her to decompress at her own pace.
