Meet Jett! This handsome 42-pound Lab mix is a social butterfly who loves other dogs and is always ready for his next adventure. Jett is still a young guy with plenty of energy, so he'll benefit from continued training and guidance as he learns his best manners. The good news? He's eager to be part of the action and comes with a happy-go-lucky attitude that's hard to resist. One thing you'll notice right away is that Jett's tail never seems to stop wagging. Whether he's making new friends, going for a walk, or just hanging out with his people, this cheerful boy is always happy to see you. We don't know what Jett thinks about cats yet, so that remains a mystery waiting to be solved. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Jett is your perfect match! Jett has been exposed to Lyme disease but is currently asymptomatic. He is being treated with doxycycline (doxy) and is doing well. His adopter should continue routine veterinary care, including annual Lyme disease screening and any follow-up recommendations from your veterinarian. Jett is currently staying at our shelter so we cannot say whether or not he’s housebroken. His new family should be prepared to take on house training, which is to be expected whenever bringing a new pet home, he will need some time to adjust and get in to a routine.
