Description
Meet Moby, a boy so beautiful, gentle and loyal, it's hard to imagine he lived on the street for years! In fact, we named him Moby because he was so elusive that he'd become one of our "white whales." But instead of being shy indoors, he immediately blossomed into a boy who lives for attention, follows his fosters from room to room, plays "with all the toys," and then tuckers out next to them on the couch watching TV. His fosters say he's an absolute joy. And he even won over the heart of his rescuer's teenage daughter when they bunked together! Moby will do best in a home where he can get the attention and affection he's been craving -- someone who's home a fair amount and loves a lap cat. He loves to eat and might try to steal your food (he's still learning that he gets regular meals and no longer has to forage for his dinner), but it's in good fun and quite charming! (But we don't encourage it, ha!) He's estimated to be 5 years old, neutered, vaccinated, free of fleas and parasites, and negative for FeLV. He tested positive for FIV, which is common in former street cats and not a big deal. He can live with friendly FIV-negative cats (he's living with one right now!) and is set to live a long and healthy life with a high-quality diet and annual vet visits; the same as every cat!
