Meet Doe, a 5-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing just 7 pounds. This sweet and gentle little companion is ready to find a family of her own. With her calm, loving personality and tiny size, she's the perfect little shadow to keep you company wherever you go. Doe does great in her crate, but if given the choice, she'd much rather be snuggled up with her people. She loves sitting in your lap and will happily follow you from room to room. Whether she's cuddling with her favorite human or lounging with her canine friends, Doe is happiest when she's close to those she loves. She has a low-energy lifestyle and is perfectly content with short walks, relaxing in the yard, or riding along in a puppy stroller. She's also great in the car and enjoys tagging along on adventures. While she hasn't had much exposure to children, she did wonderfully with the young kids she met at an adoption event. Doe is described as friendly, shy, adaptable, happy, quiet, and loyal. She gets along well with other dogs and has a calm, gentle nature that helps her fit into many different situations. Her foster mom believes she will do well in most home environments. Doe is making progress with house training and will also use a potty pad. If you're looking for a loving little companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Doe may be the perfect match. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
