When she first arrived, brought in by a kind Good Samaritan who found her as a stray, she was absolutely terrified. Shelter life was overwhelming for her, and she kept her distance from everyone. Despite her fearful behavior, we suspected there was a very different cat hiding beneath the stress.We were right.Within just 30 minutes of arriving in her foster home, Tiana began showing her true personality. She eagerly accepted pets, handed out head butts, purred contentedly, and even enjoyed some catnip. It was as if a switch had flipped once she felt safe and secure.Now that she's settled, Tiana has revealed herself to be an inquisitive, active, and playful young cat. She loves exploring her surroundings and investigating anything new that catches her eye. In foster care, she spends much of her time playing chase with the resident cats and would thrive in a home with other playful feline companions.Tiana is looking for an adult-only home with adopters who understand that some cats need time and patience to feel comfortable. Experience with shy or behaviorally challenged cats would be beneficial. Once she trusts you, Tiana has so much love to give, and her journey from frightened stray to affectionate companion is proof that she just needed the chance to shine.OTHER PETS: Tiana must have active kitties to play with in her new home.OWNER EXPERIENCE: Tiana's adopter must have experience with scared kitties.KIDS: Tiana is best suited for an adult only home.ACTIVITY LEVEL: Tiana is a very busy kitty.
