Description

Gabriel is a happy boy who is looking for a home! He's currently with our rescue partners in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ soon with a foster or adopter.   Gabriel is a 65-pound certified couch potato with a heart of gold. At around 3–4 years old, this handsome pittie boy has mastered the art of chilling. He’s the kind of dog who’s perfectly content to lounge beside you, gently reminding you (okay, insisting) that belly rubs are not optional. Gabriel already knows how to sit, walks nicely on a leash, and brings an easygoing, peaceful energy wherever he goes. He loves his toys, never says no to a treat, and truly just wants a comfy spot to land and someone to love. And here’s the part we can’t quite understand — Gabriel has been sitting in boarding for far too long. No chaos, no drama… just a really good dog waiting patiently while the world passes him by. If you’ve been searching for a loyal, low-key companion who’s happiest by your side (preferably on a couch), Gabriel is your guy. He doesn’t need much — just a home, some love, and plenty of belly rubs. Let’s get this sweet boy out of boarding and into the home he deserves. Gabriel is fixed, microchipped and up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. He tested negative for heartworm and his adoption donation is $500 . Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
