Description
2 months old Neutered male Requires a feline playmate in the home Not a good match for young children No known experience with dogs Requires socialization and experience reading cat body language Doritos is an adorable kitten who’s still learning that people can be safe and trustworthy. He didn’t get enough early socialization, so new people and environments can feel overwhelming right now. Because of that, he’s looking for an adopter who understands that building trust takes time, patience, and consistency. To help Doritos succeed, he’ll need to start out in his own small room and have multiple short socialization sessions each day over the course of several weeks. The goal isn’t to force interaction, but to help him gradually learn that people bring comfort, fun, and good things. Without that dedicated effort, he’s at risk of becoming a cat who spends most of his time hiding and never fully learns to enjoy life with his family. Doritos needs a home with another social, cat-friendly feline who wants a companion and can help him gain confidence as he adjusts. Because he needs his boundaries respected while he learns to trust, he is not a good match for young children. For someone willing to put in the work, Doritos has all the potential to grow into a fun, loving companion.
