ScoobyLike his famous cartoon namesake, Scooby may start off a little unsure of new situations—but give him a little patience, a few Scooby snacks, and you'll discover there's a sweetheart behind those thoughtful eyes. While he won't be solving any mysteries, he is searching for one thing: a family to call his own. Since spending time in foster care, Scooby's personality has continued to blossom. He has become more engaged with the world around him and now greets mornings, walks, and exciting moments with happy little vocalizations that are impossible not to smile at. He forms deep bonds with his people and loves nothing more than staying close for cuddles and companionship.Scooby is a calm, gentle boy who enjoys taking life at his own pace. He walks slowly on leash without pulling, loves leisurely sniffing adventures, and enjoys playing with a ball outside. He's also happy to meet new people during walks and has been cooperative for exams, vaccines, and handling. Like many sensitive dogs, Scooby is still building confidence when left alone from his favorite people. He's making steady progress and will thrive with a patient adopter who can continue helping him feel secure. He's also a bit of a picky eater at times, but his foster family says he's an absolute sweetheart who has completely stolen their hearts. Scooby may not come with a Mystery Machine, but he is hoping to find the Shaggy to his Scooby—someone who will stick by his side through every adventure, enjoy slow walks and cozy cuddles, and remind him that the world isn't so scary after all.
