Meet Aleigha, sunshine in dog form!A volunteer recently took this adorable brindle girl on a Fido Field Trip and came back absolutely smitten.According to them, Aleigha approached the entire day with one mission: have as much fun as possible.They went for a walk (which quickly became a serious scent investigation), practiced tricks for pieces of baguette, enjoyed a Dairy Queen pup cone, and made lots of new friends along the way. Back at the volunteer's home, Aleigha revealed her true passion in life: squeaky toys. She sprinted around the living room squeaking, pouncing, and launching herself onto the couch until the toy finally gave up and stopped squeaking forever. After a full day of adventures, toys, bread, and ice cream, she curled up in the backseat and fell asleep on the ride back to the shelter.
