Description

Solo is a 5 month old male Collie mix with a sleek black coat that is beautifully accented by brindle markings. Plus, he has a personality that's every bit as wonderful as his good looks … gentle, loving, and all ready to find the family he has been dreaming of. Solo can be a little shy when meeting new people, but his love for human companionship quickly wins out. It doesn't take long for him to warm up, and once he does, you'll discover a sweet, affectionate boy who simply wants to be near his people. His soft heart and eager smile make him impossible not to love. As a young Collie mix, Solo is smart, curious, and eager to learn. He enjoys discovering new things and is ready for a family that will continue helping him grow into the amazing dog he's destined to become. With a little guidance, plenty of love, and some tasty treats, there's no telling what this bright young pup can accomplish. Solo arrived at the shelter with another pup and took comfort in having his brother by his side. But his brother was recently adopted, and now it is Solo's turn to find a forever home of his very own. So if you're looking for a loyal companion with a gentle spirit, a loving heart, and a lifetime of devotion to give, Solo may be the one for you. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm.
