Hi there! My name is Lavender May, and I was born in February, which means I’m still just a baby learning all about the world! I’m a spunky little black Lab mix with a playful personality and a heart full of love. Whether it’s chasing toys, wrestling with my dog friends, or exploring new things, I’m always ready for an adventure. Once I’ve burned off some puppy energy, though, my favorite place is curled up right next to my favorite people for cuddles. I’m still working on this whole potty-training thing, but I’m trying my best every day! One thing you should know about me is that I absolutely love my people. If you’re looking for a shadow, congratulations—you found one! I like to stay close by and make sure I don’t miss out on any love, attention, or snuggles. I’m crate trained and do very well in my crate. I may sing you a few songs when it’s time to settle in—after all, I have important puppy opinions to share—but I calm down quickly and rest comfortably once I know everything is okay. I get along great with other dogs and enjoy making new friends. When I’m all grown up, I’m expected to be about the size of a typical Lab mix, around 50–65 pounds, making me the perfect companion for adventures, couch cuddles, and everything in between.
