Description

Gigi is enjoying the good life!  Not too long ago, she was a matted mess- completely shut down in a busy shelter- but things are looking up for sweet Gigi.  Every day, she is learning that people are safe- and that we often bring yummy treats.  Since she can be shy when initially meeting new humans, she will need a patient family that will continue a slow and positive approach to new people.  Gigi would love a family that isn't gone for long hours, she's an excellent side-kick co worker.  She is house trained, crate trained, and has begun her obedience training and leash lessons.  She rides well in a car too!   Gigi requires a fenced yard, one that is appropriate for keeping such a wee girl safe and secure- and humans that will stay with her for outside potty visits and play.  All children in the home must be 10 years of age and older.  Another well behaved dog in the home is a must, Gigi takes her cues from other canines.  A current dog who ADORES people would be a great match.  Gigi completely ignores cats.   Gigi has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines and preventative medications.  She will require regular grooming, so preference will be given to a family who has experience with non shedding breeds.
