Step right up and meet CHURRO!  No carnival is complete without a sweet treat, and this little guy is as sweet as they come!  At just 3 months old and 11 pounds, Churro is a Shih Tzu mix puppy who is looking for the forever family he deserves. We expect him to stay under 20 pounds when fully grown, making him the perfect pint-sized companion. Churro’s story isn’t all cotton candy and carnival lights. He and his siblings came to rescue covered in skin infections and scabs, leading us to suspect they may have been discarded simply because they weren’t “perfect” enough for someone with a breeder mentality. Thankfully, those days are behind him, and now he’s ready for a life filled with love, comfort, and plenty of belly rubs. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter.
