Meow meet Olive! She’s a beautiful 3 year old calico with a gentle heart and a quiet soul. We don’t know all of Olive’s story, but we do know she is one remarkable mama. As a stray, Olive gave birth to a whopping six kittens beneath a trailer home and somehow managed to keep every one  of them safe. When her babies were about 5 weeks old, the little family was rescued together, giving them a chance at a brighter future. Olive is a sweet,  affectionate girl who enjoys pets and kind attention. She can be a little shy at first, and though longs for love and affection she may need some time to fully settle into a new home. She just simply wants to feel safe and be loved. She gets along well with other cats, dogs, and would do best in a home with respectful older children who understand that sometimes the sweetest friendships take time to grow. There is something especially touching about Olive. After surviving life outdoors and raising six kittens, she asks for so little - just patience, kindness, and a place where she can finally relax and let someone else take care of her for a change. Olive spent months being everything her babies needed.now she’s hoping someone will choose her and show her what it feels like to be someone’s baby for once!
