Hi, I’m Jet. If you had met me when I first arrived at the shelter back in March, you probably wouldn’t recognize me. I was terrified. Everything felt scary, and I wasn’t sure if I could trust anyone. I kept my guard up and preferred to keep my distance. But little by little, kind people showed me that not all changes are bad. Now? I’m a completely different guy. I’ve discovered that pets feel pretty amazing, attention is actually kind of wonderful, and rolling over for belly-side rubs is one of my favorite ways to show how comfortable I’ve become. I’m finally learning what it means to feel safe. Along the way, I had to have half of my tail amputated, so I’m rocking a stylish little half-tail these days. I think it just makes me more unique! I’m about 5 years old and have a serious weakness for Temptations treats and Churu snacks. If you come bearing either of those, we’ll probably become friends very quickly. The best part? I’m still blossoming. Everyone here believes I’ll continue to grow more confident and loving once I’m settled into a home of my own. All I need is someone willing to give me the chance I’ve worked so hard for. Could that someone be you?    Hi, I’m Jet.
