Martha - Female DOB 4/23/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Tortoiseshell Martha is a very sweet, gentle soul tortie who loves to look out windows at all the action she can find.  She also just loves soaking up the suns rays to heat up that soft fur she has.  She's a bit on the shy side until she has a chance to settle in, and would do best in a quieter home with no dogs and no young kids. Once she has settled in, she will even be a little chatty.  Once she has settled in, she doesn't mind being picked up and held briefly for some snuggles.  She loves to look out the windows to watch the activities of the birds and critters going about their day.  She's not high maintenance, and is a low-key, mellow kitty. Although she seemed to be ok around other cats down south, she hasn't cared much about being around the other cats in our main room and would let them know in no uncertain terms with a cuff here and there to tell them to stay out of her space.  She may do ok with a cat-friendly mellow dog who has been around cats before, and older respectful children.  She will need a slow introduction to a dog or other cat.  She would probably be happiest being your only kitty getting spoiled and lots of attention.  Please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/
