Meet Esme! Angelica is a darling pup weighing about 50 pounds. At about a year old, she’s past the “young puppy phase” but still young and playful. While we can't be 100% sure, at her age, she probably won't get too much bigger.Esme is wonderfully affectionate and people-oriented — she loves being close to her humans and loves playing with other dogs. She tends be more submissive and good natured, making her a great doggy playmate!  Angelica does really well with both DOGS and CATS, so she would be a great fit for a multi-pet home. Esme is playful, smart, and eager to learn. She does well crated at night, settling in quickly without too much fuss. She has mastered the doggie door at her foster home and lets her people know when it’s time to go potty. As a young dog, she’ll continue to do best with a consistent routine, and she’s already proving how quick and willing she is to learn. She also walks beautifully on a leash and loves car rides.If you’re looking for a loving companion who enjoys adventure, playtime, and cuddles, Esme may be your perfect match.   Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.
