Description
Rootbeer is a -month-old chocolate and tan wirehaired Miniature Dachshund with the sweetest personality. This affectionate little guy loves people and is happiest when he's being held, cuddled, or spending time with his favorite humans. Rootbeer is also playful and enjoys chasing and squeaking his collection of squeaky toys. Rootbeer came from a home where he was kept outside, he is still working on house training, so his future family should be prepared to continue helping him learn and stay consistent with his routine. He's making progress, started to learn the doggie door in the short time at his foster home but it's definitely still a work in progress. Rootbeer would thrive in a home with another playful dog around his size who can be his buddy and help burn off some puppy energy. Because he's small and still learning the ropes, a home without young children would be the best fit. Rootbeer is not yet neutered. A neuter deposit will be required with his adoption. Once he is old enough, adopters may use their own veterinarian and receive the deposit back upon providing proof of neuter, or they may choose our veterinarian and have the deposit applied toward the cost of the procedure. Highlights: 3-month-old wirehaired Miniature Dachshund Sweet, affectionate, and loves to be held Playful and loves squeaky toys Would love a canine playmate his size Working on house training Best suited for a home without small children Neuter deposit required Rootbeer‘s adoption fee: $1000 plus a $300 neuter deposit
