Description

Sake is a young kitten who has sustained a fractured tail that is causing pain and discomfort. Due to the severity of the injury, tail amputation is recommended to prevent further complications and improve long-term comfort and quality of life.Sake will require surgical intervention, post-operative care, and continued veterinary monitoring, which exceed what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment.Despite this injury, Sake remains gentle and is doing their best while receiving supportive care.Sake needs a safe, compassionate placement where they can receive the necessary surgical treatment and recovery support to heal and thrive.This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to the level of medical care required, which exceeds what we can provide in the shelter.
